The Other, Gold (2024)

Set in Little Tokyo during the “pandemmy”, a TV writer (Sharaé Nikai) fights to stay authentic in the face of her grief, relationships and craft. She has first world problems (ramen shortages) and real world ones (Omicron 2.0)… But, as both worlds open back up, so does her heart to the idea of rekindling a former BFF-ship. THE OTHER, GOLD world premiered in the US Narrative Competition at Tribeca Film Festival and marks the directorial debut of David Lassiter and writer/producer Sharaé Nikai.The Other, Gold (2024) showing at: December 12, 8:00 pm
